Intro
Toyota joined Sunny Hill Festival with an experience built around movement, music, and taking a moment to enjoy the festival. Our role was to create a space that felt open, social, and easy to engage with while keeping Toyota visible throughout. From the branded tent and chill zone to the mirror installation and light-up gadgets, every element was designed to give festivalgoers another way to interact with the brand.
Challenge
At a festival, brand visibility alone is not enough. Toyota needed a presence that could naturally become part of the audience experience without interrupting it. The challenge was to create something recognizable and memorable while still giving people a genuine reason to stop, relax, take photos, and spend time in the space. The activation also needed to work from daytime through the evening, when the atmosphere of the festival completely changes.
How we solve it
We created a Toyota festival space centered around comfort, interaction, and shareable moments. A large branded tent became the main chill zone, giving visitors a shaded place to sit, recharge, and take a break between performances. Inside and around the space, Toyota-branded seating and details kept the identity present without overwhelming the relaxed environment. The mirror installation turned the message “Turn up the music, let’s go places” into an interactive photo moment, encouraging festivalgoers to stop, take photos, and make the experience their own. We also introduced branded light-up gadgets and wearables that became even more visible as night fell, carrying Toyota’s presence beyond the activation itself and into the crowd.

Results

Toyota became part of the Sunny Hill experience in a way that felt simple, social, and useful. The chill zone gave festivalgoers a place to slow down, while the mirror installation and illuminated gadgets created moments designed to be photographed, shared, and carried throughout the festival.

The result was a Toyota presence that worked from day to night, combining visibility with an experience people could actually enjoy.
